With 20 taps, along with a great selection of bottles and cans, Oil Well strives to provide an amazing and welcoming customer service experience while putting our heart and soul into every beer we serve. With several guest taps we will also relentlessly pursue the best beer, cider, wine and occasional mead our local area has to offer. And don’t worry; there are plenty of National favorites available too!
Located in beautiful Ave Maria, FL, a rapidly growing community of about 4,500 people 20 minutes east of Naples, Oil Well Craft Beer sits right in the heart of some of the most pristine wilderness and rich farmland in the state. With relationships with several local farmers we are dedicated to sourcing local ingredients for our beer whenever possible.
Bring any 64oz or 32oz Growler, or purchase one of ours, and we will gladly fill it for you. We also have a Crowler (Canning) Machine and will Can any beer available on draft for you in a 32oz aluminum Can, complete with our custom label. These are great for the beach, or anywhere glass is prohibited.
With a monthly calendar full of amazing events, along with some of the best, and award winning, Food Trucks Southwest Florida has to offer, you’re sure to have a great time at Oil Well Craft Beer.
about the owners
The idea of a small batch brewing operation with a fun and inviting taproom was conceived by Husband and Wife Team Matt and Danee’ Williams several years ago. With careful planning, along with the encouragement and assistance of Matt’s Parents, Mark and Deeda DeLillo, the Oil Well Craft Beer taproom became a reality in January of 2017.
Due to the amazing support of our community the decision was made to finally add the brewery we had always planned. So when the space next door to the taproom became available a year after we opened we jumped at the opportunity and in 2019 the brewery was born. With our 3bbl brewing system we hope to maintain our identity, while also being innovators in the local craft beer scene and bringing you some of the finest beer the great state of Florida has to offer.
Thanks to our dedicated Friends, Family and Patrons we were also honored to have been voted the “Best Beer Bar” in the entire state of Florida in 2019 by www.CraftBeer.com.
We encourage all fellow beer geeks or those just getting into the wonderful world of craft beer to make the trek out to Ave Maria, Florida and spend some time with Matt and Danee’, or the best bartender around, AJ Luminiello. You won’t be disappointed.
